Published on Oct 25, 2012 Discover the hidden features and intricate interior of this cabinet. One of the finest achievements of European furniture making, this cabinet is the most important product from Abraham (1711--1793) and David Roentgen's (1743--1807) workshop. A writing cabinet crowned with a chiming clock, it features finely designed marquetry panels and elaborate mechanisms that allow for doors and drawers to be opened automatically at the touch of a button. Owned by King Frederick William II, the Berlin cabinet is uniquely remarkable for its ornate decoration, mechanical complexity, and sheer size. This cabinet is from Kunstgewerbemuseum, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, and is on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in the exhibition Extravagant Inventions: The Princely Furniture of the Roentgens:http://www.metmuseum.org/en/exhibitio... Back in February we were the appraisers at La Crescenta Woman’s Club Antique and Collectibles Sale and Appraisal event. It was a great success. So much so the local newspaper picked it up, which you can read here: Crescentavalleyweekly.com. The event was also written about in the Glendale News Press.

As our business grows, we have had to look at certain business products to assist us
in maintaining and protecting the business. We were one of the first Estate Sale
companies to use Event Insurance to protect our company, our clients, and our shoppers
from loss due to an accident at a sale.
And we have recently signed up for the Legalshield Legal plan for self-employed and small business.
Legalshield is a 40 year old company that offer individuals, the self employed, and small businesses
access to top notch legal help for a small monthly charge. The provider law firm in California is an
80 year old law firm with highest rating a law firm can get. It is the same firm that represents Allstate
Insurance Company, and many other large companies. And the plan gives us unlimited access for any and all
legal questions and representation in small and critical business and personal legal issues.
It is a company and a business product we recommend highly to All. It truly provides Equal Justice Under the Law.
